Overview Some Hardhats have been discussing an idea on the mailing list that would allow Vista to run a thin client model using Delphi. The basic concept is to create a custom browser that would be fed forms/frames (windows) from the server. This could make client maintenance a lot easier and provide late binding, a trademark of MUMPS. Mike Simpson has taken the challenge and put together a proof of concept that he is offering as freeware in this download. (It was written with Delphi 2.0) Mike encourages you to provide feedback on the Hardhats mailing list or send your comments to him directly. |
