EDIT^XPAREDIT(): Edit Instance and Value of a Parameter

Description

The EDIT^XPAREDIT API interactively edits the instance (if multiple instances are allowed) and the value for a parameter associated with a given entity.

Format

  EDIT^XPAREDIT(entity,parameter)

Input Parameters

entity:

(required) Identifies the specific entity for which a parameter can be edited. The entity must be in VARIABLE POINTER format.

parameter:

(required) Identifies the parameter that should be edited. Parameter should contain two pieces:

     IEN^DisplayNameOfParameter

Output

returns:

Returns parameter for Interactive edits.
